1: I have already done the work: 50+ verses of Drona Parva are very clearly describing a waning phase Moon on the 14th war night.
Oak took his Moon phases as Upamanas (that is fake Moon phases).
I am sure you understand what I mean by fake Moonphases. (SS attached. These are not real observations on which Oak bases his observations but similies and metaphors).

That Moonrise in the Eastern sky is the only evidence of Moonphases of the war and provides you forward and backward evidence of the Moon phases.

2: War cannot start as an Amavasya because of above BIT it cannot start on Kartik Amavasya because a day before Balarama is still at Upaplavya and has yet to go for his pilgrimage.

The mistake is called misplaced Balarama’s pilgrimage error (text is clear that his 42 day pilgrimage actually won’t start for another 18 days).
Lots of astronomers including Oak make this particular blunder. This mistake is well known now.

3: There are references to a lunar eclipse just gone in Karna Krishna Samvada and a solar eclipse coming at that Jyestha Amavasya.
4: There is no reference to an eclipse anywhere in the war timeline (grasa dhatu has not been used in present tense anywhere). You may check it.
Eclipses (visible or invisible) are all before the war as Grasa is only referred to before the war and Vyasa meets Drithatashtra prior to the war only (eclipse references are prior to war and 36 years later).

@NileshOak @YouTube @mmpandit I trust your ‘neeyat’ but the main contention is the moon phases during the war. I feel you will need to show how your model says war ENDED on amavasya but other models suggest war STARTED on Amavasya. This could be the Death Knell for Mr Oak’s hypothesis. (1)
