Most of modern Christian music is shallow, focused on our feelings or declaring what we’re going to do, but rarely on who God is or His Word.
Why? Our writers don’t have any theological literacy or depths. We can’t articulate deep truths in beautiful ways if we don’t know them.
@boarexpert1@jjthehomeseller@AdamPage85@landjax Here are some of your words. If you can show me where in the Bible Christ approves of this, then we will have something to discuss. Until then, I see hypocrisy. This isn’t about people defending someone you disagree with. This is calling you and your own words into question.
@boarexpert1@jjthehomeseller@AdamPage85@landjax My guess is you were hurt by someone or a group of people. Someone in the church? You aren’t alone in that if that’s the case. True, you can’t find love here. But you can encourage others, respond in love, and be loving with your words. Even if you are dealing with a bully.
@boarexpert1@jjthehomeseller@AdamPage85@landjax You speak of Christ, but your feed is completely devoid of His love. I’m sincerely not trolling right now. In all seriousness, maybe take a moment and review the themes and spirit of your words. A focus on winning, calling people cowards. Start with Matthew 18 in it’s entirety.
@boarexpert1@jjthehomeseller@AdamPage85@landjax Because it doesn’t include the word “Christ” it doesn’t mean the Word is inspired? You have said that Christ is the Word. 2 Tim 3:16-17All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness…
@boarexpert1@jjthehomeseller@AdamPage85@landjax 1Tim 5:17-18Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. For the Scripture says,”You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.” The pesky Word of God again
@AdamPage85@BiblicalBeauty Wow. Almost like there could have been a worldwide flood that moved water and sea animals into normally dry and arid places. I imagine that probably didn’t go so well for the people who rejected the One who surely warned the crap out of that.
Ladies who profess Christ but insist on taking or portraying the role of pastor/teacher, God is never going to ask you to do something contrary to what He commands of the Church. Good intentions aside, what does the Bible say? That should be our only question.
