I was pulling $22/hr driving Uber Eats after dropping out of college.
To her: embarrassing failure.
To me: buying priceless time to build.

She wasn’t scared I’d be broke.
She was scared her friends would find out her “golden child” delivers food.

I didn’t want the life she bragged about to her friends.
I wanted the one that would make her brag one day without realizing it.

That fight birthed a song the same week.

It’s called “Dreaming.”

If you’re secretly building something so big it looks like laziness to everyone around you right now…
