- When I said the police killed the boy , I just knew people don’t Just die in Police custody

- The elder sister of Jimoh Abdulquadri, the man who died in police custody in Ilorin, Kwara State, just hours after being arrested for owing a friend N220,000.

- She said: The police told someone to call Jimoh on the phone to come out of the house before they arrested him.

- He was with her in the house, and she gave him N350,000 before the call came in.

- When they got to the station, he called their mother to let her know he was arrested.

- Immediately, their mother went to the station and told the police that he had N350,000 in his pocket and asked them to remove the money he owed.

- The police refused and said the person who arrested him needed to see him the next day.

- The following morning, the police called to say Jimoh's body had been deposited in the morgue.

- They claimed he hanged himself with his t-shirt, yet they saw blood on his head and nose when they checked the body in the morgue.

The Men of the Nigerian Police Force kidnapped her son in ilorin and refused to bail him, only for them to call his family to come bail him at 10pm, later on delayed his bail to 12noon and later postponed his bail to 2am, the family became worried and pressured the police, and they were told to wait till dawn. At dawn the men of the police told them to go to the morgue to identify and pick his c0rpse.

In the past three days, I've been deeply involved in a case of alleged rape and police misconduct. My friend’s sister, who traveled from Akwa Ibom to Lagos for an event she was organizing, was allegedly raped in a car after she went to see a friend off. When she finally had the courage to tell her sisters, one of them, my friend, sought justice and made a tweet naming the alleged perpetrator.
