If the last 6 years have taught me anything, it’s that the American Government needs to force Hollywood to make movies about how poor people, workers and soldiers are incredibly stupid, their ideas are bad and wrong, and Scientists and Intellectuals are correct.
when I get frustrated with my corporate job, it helps to reflect on what it affords me:
> a clean, safe, environment for my girlfriend and I
> unlimited access to the healthiest groceries, hygiene, and supplements
> access to nice gyms, sauna rooms, cold plunges, workout classes, yoga, sports
> access to books and other knowledge without being stingy
> ability to replace destroyed shoes and clothes without thinking
> can always afford travel when someone presents the trip
> good healthcare and insurance that covers the dentist and checkups
> the ability to absolutely send my dreams with no repercussions
> ability to live in a popular place where making friends is easy, community
> can make stupid financial decisions occasionally (buy apple study display)
> can gift generously

can always just shift your perspective instead of being a doomer curmudgeon.
Fauci FRAUDULENTLY claimed ivermectin didn’t work so the government could inject the entire population with emergency-use-authorized gene therapies.
106 studies involving 200,000+ patients show ivermectin:
REDUCED mortality by 47%
REDUCED hospitalization by 34%
REDUCED cases by 79%
INCREASED viral clearance by 44%
IMPROVED recovery by 39%
Lee Kuan Yew on why Government Policies aimed at increasing the birth rate which pay people money to have children will fail
“If I were in charge of Singapore today, I would introduce a baby bonus equal to two years' worth of the average Singaporean's salary.
The sum would be enough to see the child through to the start of primary school at least. Would I expect the number of babies to increase substantially? No.
I am convinced that even super-size monetary inducements would only have a marginal effect on fertility rates.
But I would still go ahead and offer the bonus, for at least a year, just to prove beyond any doubt that our low birth rates have nothing to do with economic or financial factors, such as high cost of living or lack of government help for parents.
They are instead the result of changed lifestyles and mindsets.
…
Once women are educated and have equal job opportunities, they no longer see their primary role as bearing children or taking care of the household. They want to be able to pursue their careers fully just as men have always been able to.
They have very different expectations about whether or whom they should marry because they are financially independent.
There is no turning back the clock, unless we want to stop educating women.”
There is an important message here but it’s not the one she thinks she’s delivering.
The therapy, revealing personal info on demand, knowing what an “attachment style”even is.
This makes you a sexless being in her eyes.
You can’t just pivot to “let’s bang” after having said all that because you’re not in that category for her.
Women *don’t* find all that sexy and they can’t even make one video without accidentally revealing it.
Yes we understand you don’t have an ethical standard beyond whatever gets you what you want. We understand that quite well. We think it’s horrendous, we aren’t confused.
The USA would be far, far, far better off without minority groups tearing at the fabric of society through exploitation of social programs and violent crime. Naturally, the Libtard opposes this form of consequentialism, because libtards only contort reality to fit their evil.
@itispsychomath@frogNscorpion The parable of the talents had the one who just hid the money rebuked. The parable of the lamp calls out foolishness of hiding a lamp under a basket rather then letting it do its job and light the room. Jesus cursed the fig tree for having leaves that signify fruit but had none.
Women are way too comfortable living in the pretend world men built for them. There’s no way out of this except for the pretending to end
It’s the same as with nons. When you elevate a group beyond what they could ever achieve themselves, their thanks will be bitterness, resentment and hate. You’re left with a black hole which never can be filled and a grievance factory which never goes idle
The question is not if, but when—but whether it is to be a soft landing or a hard one is yet to be written. It is the moral duty of everyone who recognizes the situation for what it is to work toward a soft landing. A hard one would entail misery the likes of which few of us have ever seen
I'm still working on the details, but I have a theory that as the Cantillon Effect continues to inflate asset prices, corporate America will increasingly cater to a smaller base of wealthier consumers.
As asset prices rise much faster than median household incomes, America’s wealthiest households will control an ever-larger share of discretionary consumer spending.
What this means is that they're going to increasingly outbid everyone else for basically everything. Housing, healthcare, education, travel, restaurants, entertainment, you name it. One could argue this is already happening with the housing market. I expect it'll spill over into other sectors of the economy too.
This, combined with the fact that money supply growth and asset prices are vastly outstripping median household income growth, means companies that cater to lower/middle income Americans will find themselves unable to raise prices much faster than the inflation rate unless they either drastically reduce costs (ie: automate as many things as possible) or they ditch their lower/middle income customers for higher-income ones that own all the assets.
But that's a problem, because inflation is going to essentially be the means by which the Federal government reduces its debt burden as a percentage of GDP. Financial repression is the only way out of this mess at this point, so a company that can’t lower its costs or raise its prices faster than inflation will be indirectly transferring its wealth to the Feds.
If this thesis is correct, you'd expect:
1) Companies that have the ability to will shift to a higher-income base in order to survive what's to come.
2) The entire economy will stratify even more. Lower and middle-income people will be given less and less attention by corporate America simply because they're going to make up a smaller and smaller percentage of their profit base.
3) Companies that don't have the ability to drastically lower their costs on the front end or possess the pricing power of a company like Apple or the scale of Walmart will basically be destroyed.
Nearly the perfect example of what wanye is talking about. There is no “school shootings are good” movement. No one has ever said that. You can’t find it’s your right to shoot up a school movement. You won’t find members of Congress defending school shootings as a fundamental human right. All of that actually exists for the pro-abortion movements. It’s not simply a trade off of one evil for a lessor or downstream from a broader belief, it’s that abortions are good in of themselves, and there’s a political movement that is built around promoting that idea. the basis of the argument is some bizarre scientific moralism divorced from any coherent ethical framework.
