Absolutely! my home city is showing up BC here! so when did you last volunteer to "spruce" up or help protect or advocate for your trails - let's not take them for granted - there is a lot of work to be done - best/easiest way is to join Trails BC! a fabulous start.
If you support recovering the BC Rail Trails in the southern interior BC for Covid 19 recovery... please attend the telephone townhall and give these politicians your advocacy.

@TrailsBC and we TOTALLY agree with @TrailsBC on this one - the world has enough roads paved and otherwise for cars and trucks and 4WD vehicles....it's beyond, way beyond, time for change in BC.
Transit with non-motorized greenways and trails = YES... Healthy interdependence with our communities and friends with active transportation for the shorter distances and mass public transportation for long commutes in the entire province.
Like you, we're passionate about exploring BC. However, now is not the time to travel. Please stay home this long weekend and follow the advice of health authorities. #ExploreBCLater#FlattenTheCurve#PlanktheCurve#StayHome
We'll be needing to work on finding increased active transportation funding now social distancing is the new norm and our trails such as the KVR Rail Trail will be seeing more domestic visitors.

I have the amazing opportunity of living and working in both Canada and New Zealand. NZ has a much more progressive attitude towards cycleways & trails. Neither country, in my opinion, offers many safe... https://t.co/OGezzi7DOx
