स्कूल शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग, शिक्षा मंत्रालय, द्वारा राष्ट्रीय ई-पुस्तकाल�� (ReP) पर राष्ट्रीय काव्य उत्सव 2026 का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। देशभर के कक्षा 9वीं से 12वीं तक के विद्यार्थियों को इस राष्ट्रीय कविता वाचन प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जाता है।
प्रतिभागी ReP पर उपलब्ध कविताओं में से अपनी पसंद की एक कविता चुनकर उसका 60-90 सेकंड का वाचन वीडियो तैयार कर सकते हैं तथा निर्धारित सोशल मीडिया हैंडल एवं हैशटैग के साथ अपनी प्रविष्टि साझा कर सकते हैं।
आइए, कविता के माध्यम से पठन, सृजन और अभिव्यक्ति के इस उत्सव का हिस्सा बनें ।

Hon'ble Union Minister of Education, Shri @dpradhanbjp, chaired a detailed discussion during a review meeting with officials, committee members and domain experts on the proposed draft National Mental Health & Well-Being Policy for Schools.
The deliberations focused on strengthening mental well-being among students, teachers and the wider school community. Emphasising the importance of a holistic and preventive approach, the Hon'ble Minister underscored the need to foster safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments, build a positive school culture that promotes mental well-being, empathy, care, trust, and emotional resilience, and integrate mental health and well-being into school system, practices and implementation as an integral part of quality education. The policy must leverage on Indian Knowledge Systems, culture and must be practically implementable while having the teachers as the first level of mentors.

As a lead-up to World Environment Day 2026, a virtual meeting was chaired by Shri @sanjayjavin, Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education on 4th June 2026, to sensitise representatives from States and UTs on the implementation of Green Summer Camps and Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0 under the aegis of Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE. The Secretary emphasised the importance of environmental awareness and the need to adopt sustainable lifestyle among students, highlighting the critical role of schools in nurturing environmentally responsible behaviour. He encouraged States and UTs to leverage Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE as a platform to promote conservation of resources and active participation in environmental initiatives.
Dr. Amarpreet Duggal, Joint Secretary, DoSEL, delivered an in-depth presentation highlighting the importance of promoting environmental awareness among school students through activities aligned with the seven themes of Mission LiFE and encouraged States and UTs to facilitate active participation of schools in the campaign.
States/UTs were urged to ensure saturation of Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE in schools of all managements across the country.

Day – 7: Conclusion of Summer Camp
The final day of the summer camp was filled with fun and excitement as students participated in traditional language-based games like Antakshari, tongue twisters, and word association activities. The camp concluded with wonderful performances.

Students explored the names and significance of rivers, mountains, and historical monuments through physical maps, atlases, and audio-visual learning materials. The activities helped enhance their knowledge of history and geography in an engaging and interactive way
Day : 5
Students participated in activities like short film screenings, nukkad natak, and storytelling sessions to develop listening skills and cultural awareness. They also learnt about local heroes, freedom fighters, artists, and eminent personalities through audio-visual.
🍲 Local Cuisines Activity
Students explored local cuisines by learning about different spices, vegetables, and fruits used in traditional dishes. They enthusiastically participated in preparing simple edible items, making the activity both fun and interactive.🌟
🎨 Day – 3: Art (Music / Dance / Art)
Students joyfully participated in music, dance, and art activities while learning new forms of dance and creative art. The activities encouraged creativity, confidence, and teamwork, making the day fun and memorable. 🌟
Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing (DIKSHA) is the Nation’s One Nation, One Digital platform for providing quality e-content for school education in States/UTs along with QR coded Energised Textbooks (ETBs) for all grades. DIKSHA, a declared Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) also enables synchronous and asynchronous learning, structured teacher training and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for teachers through certified online courses, assessments and monitor progress.
