Why would an investor choose Andhra Pradesh over Tamil Nadu?
The answer is quite simple:
Better infrastructure and readiness for large-scale investments.
Leadership and administration that understand business needs and actively support growth.
Investors naturally gravitate towards locations where projects can be executed faster and with greater confidence.
Unfortunately, these two critical factors appear to be increasingly lacking in Tamil Nadu today.
Investors don't choose a state because of fancy film dialogues or political rhetoric.
Those may help win votes, but they don't win investments.
The ruling party appears to have forgotten that the election campaign ended long ago.
The Assembly is not a venue for drama, slogans, and self-promotion.
It is a constitutional institution meant to address people's problems, scrutinise policies, and ensure accountable governance.
@NewsAlgebraIND When mercy for the guilty overshadows justice for the innocent, one begins to wonder whether justice is merely blind or completely lost.
@KBalamuruganPhD Agreed. But if those are the root causes, they did not appear overnight.
The real question is not what the causes are, but why the decline is showing up now.
Without answering that, we may be mistaking a symptom for the cause.
@UpdatesChennai Politicians love publicity. Cinema stars love publicity. When a cinema star becomes a politician, publicity becomes a full-time government scheme.
Posters are no longer decoration, they're the actual manifesto.
For some, every project is a threat, every investment is exploitation, and every development initiative must be protested first and understood later.
With the same logic, we should be holding public hearings on whether electricity should be allowed in villages.
Thankfully, projects like Kudankulam moved ahead despite the noise.
If objections generated electricity, TN would have 24x7 free power by now.
We want the comforts of a developed nation, but not the projects that create them.
We want uninterrupted power, modern roads, and jobs, but apparently without any infrastructure being built.
Unfortunately, development doesn't happen by magic.
You can't demand the destination while blocking every road that leads to it.
This transformer near @pcyfowa supplying electricity to Prestige Courtyards, CasaGrand Royal, DRA Elite, Radiance Sapphire and all near by houses in Sholinganallur (Model School Extn area) has been faulty for over 2 years. Residents are facing numerous power fluctuations due to load related issues. Several complaints and requests for upgrade are falling through the crack. @TANGEDCO_Offcl@EB_Adyar_Tmbm@Tangedco_SE_Cpt@Tangedco_SE_Cpt@CTR_Nirmalkumar Please do something before someone or something catches fire.

URGENT: Please help us locate my brother-in-law, V.S. Balasubramanyam (Bali), a US citizen of Indian origin.
Bali was travelling with the Isha Foundation S3 Kailash/Mansarovar group.
His last known phone location, confirmed to his family by Andhra Bhavan, New Delhi, was the Chinese Immigration Centre at Gyirong, Tibet, on the morning of August 26, when the devastating flash flood struck.
His family has had no contact with him since, and his current status is unknown.
If anyone has information about Bali or the S3 group at the Gyirong immigration centre, please DM me.
Please RT 🙏 and share this widely. @MEAIndia@USAndIndia@Sadhguru@IshaFoundation

Less rain. Lower crop yields. Higher food prices. India’s monsoon deficit has widened to 14%, and the dry spell is expected to continue into September. Farmers are watching the skies, while consumers may soon feel it at the grocery store.

Tamil people will now for the first time see a private airport in their state if all goes well. All major states have one, but not Tamil Nadu thanks to our visionless politicians who thinks airports are luxury & private is dangerous. Hope a good player gets the bid...🙏🛩️
Are Chennai's communities at a crossroads?
NCR and Mumbai weren't always cities of strangers. Over decades of migration, rising incomes, longer commutes, high-rise living and shrinking family networks, many neighbourhoods gradually lost the social connections that once defined them.
Chennai is growing rapidly too. The question isn't whether our per-capita income will rise. It will.
The question is whether our per-capita human connection will keep pace.
As extended families shrink and children grow up with fewer relatives around them, communities may need to become the new support system.
