A little late to the party on this but @LegalUK_ report on the value of English law to the economy is brilliant. So many reports focus on the value of the legal services industry, so this is a welcome change of angle and summary of the opportunities.. https://t.co/veTabff69L
Brilliant speech by Sir Andrew Macfarlane @JudiciaryUK to @FamilyLawBar lots of discussion about remote hearings, the family jurisdiction and @HMCTSgovuk Reform programme. All subjects close to my heart. https://t.co/wo0oS68lgW
@RichLeighPR Many many years ago The Economist ran a billboard campaign "one day your email address will be more important than your home address". I still think of it often.
@Donna_Scully I have this to come and it worries me. It used to feel so far off and now feels like a bit of an encroaching shadow. I'll be seeking out information to help me prepare and am grateful that by the time it's my turn it's something that's less taboo. Glad you're in a better place.
@legalhackette@thetimes It can be different things, so you may be able to say x,y and z are your clients in specific areas of practice, but not say publicly the work done. Could include the detail of the work on a confidentially so that the journalist has the ammunition needed for ranking.
@Shirley_Brookes Thanks Shirley, was partly inspired to do it because of my experience at PwC Legal and those first opportunities in marketing and communications I had. I was very blessed. Hope you are well.
@LexisNexisUK@inner_temple Hmmmm but you need to the latte to make you receptive to such excellent insight.. maybe what we have isn't a fight but a match made in heaven
@jimmym What an interesting read. I work in the Civil Service (way way down the foodchain) and have often wondered what SpAds do when they leave. Thank you for sharing.
