@CrosbyBaseball I was thinking people may read the word “loss” and think that’s why the Braves aren’t spending money. In fact they made $67M more than they did last year.
@CrosbyBaseball The company claimed $105M in Impairment and Depreciation & Amortization expense that are non-cash paper losses that are essentially a tax shield.
@CrosbyBaseball Lindsay, I am a CPA by education and took a look at the financials myself. The $13M “Loss” is not a number I would focus on. The important number is the Adjusted OIBDA of $107M up from $39M last year.
