Happy Mother’s Day! 💐
Today, we celebrate the strength, love, and dedication of mothers everywhere. Wishing you a day filled with joy, appreciation, and time with those you love most!
As session comes to a close, the focus is on finishing strong—ensuring every bill is reviewed, every decision is thoughtful, and every investment reflects the needs of Kentucky families.
Proud of the work accomplished—and ready to see it through.
We finalized a fully funded road plan focused on getting projects done—not just promised.
🚧 $4.6 billion invested in roads and bridges
🚧 $230 million for construction-ready projects
🚧 At least one project in every highway district
Just over a decade ago, Kentucky’s reserve fund sat at zero.
Today, we’re able to reinvest in our communities while still maintaining strong reserves to respond to emergencies and unexpected challenges.
That’s what responsible leadership looks like.
We passed House Bill 900, directing $1.7 billion into Kentucky communities.
These one-time investments will support:
• Infrastructure
• Economic development
• Workforce needs
All without creating new long-term costs—thanks to years of disciplined budgeting.
We’re continuing to strengthen Kentucky’s financial future.
An additional $500 million investment in pensions builds on years of progress—helping secure long-term stability and one of the strongest turnarounds in the country.
Investing in education continues to be a top priority.
Over the next two years:
📚 Per-pupil funding increased by 2%
📚 More than $7 billion in SEEK funding
📚 Additional support for classrooms, early education, and student services
We’ve finalized a balanced two-year state budget that prioritizes what matters most.
This approach keeps Kentucky on strong financial footing while continuing to invest in our communities.
As the 2026 Legislative Session comes to a close, we’re finishing months of work and sending legislation to the governor. Now we enter the veto period—an important step to ensure every bill is fully considered before becoming law. We’ll return to review any vetoes and finish up.
What a day in Bowling Green! The @WarrenGOP is fired up to bring home manufacturing, back the blue, and put Kentucky First. Honored to have endorsements from Senator @KyMikeWilson, Reps @Kyrepmeredith, Shawn McPherson, Kevin Jackson, and @DuvallforKY—and grateful Kevin and Robert could join us in person today.
Wishing you and your family a blessed and joyful Easter.
This season is a reminder of hope, renewal, and the strength of our communities. As we gather with loved ones and reflect on what matters most, may we carry that spirit forward in service to one another.
