[KY Senate Majority @KYSenateGOP]

Sen @maxwellwise provided comments this morning @universityofky on his efforts to create the KY Pediatric Cancer Research Trust Fund in SB 82 a decade ago. The bill also established a 9-member board to manage funds KY residents designate to this trust and the research it undertakes.

Wise efforts laid the foundation for $2.5 million to be allocated in 2018, to combat childhood cancer across the commonwealth. The fund has now increased to over $36.5 million today.
