@JayIreland6 I had a similar conversation yesterday with one of my former students who is now a SGT at "the Great Place". Her organization figured out that she's a workhorse, so, consequently, they are utilizing the old Army tactic of "work you mercilessly until you quit/PCS/ETS". Brilliant.
