BREAKING NEWS | A dangerous murder suspect has been killed in a shootout with KZN police officers in Cato Manor. 

One member was lucky to survive after bullets struck his vest while trying to apprehend the gunman, who allegedly opened fire from inside a shack under the cover of darkness. 

The operation was carried out by the eThekwini District Trio Tracking Team, with SAPS Crime Intelligence and ET Security.

The suspect was wanted for killing a 39-year-old father while his wife - who was also shot - and 3-year-old daughter were in the room. @eNCA
