The Trae Young hate needs to be STUDIED.
Trae Young never gave up on Atlanta. For 8 years he stayed loyal to a small market team, even when the help wasn’t always there. He put this city back on the map, took us to the Eastern Conference Finals, and gave Hawks fans something to truly believe in again. People love pushing the narrative that teammates don’t like playing with him, but every former Hawk says the opposite. That he’s one of the best teammates they’ve ever had, the brightest guy in the locker room, and always willing to help anyone. Off the court, Trae has shown nothing but love to Atlanta through charities and community work. fans should never take what he’s done for this city for granted.
Even after he was traded he still sat on the Hawks bench supporting his guys and giving them advice.
Trae Young is a true leader and will get the opportunity to mentor those young players in washington.
I’m literally a Trae Young fan. I own his jerseys. My kids wear his jerseys. I’ve got memorabilia.
That doesn’t change the point. I’m a Hawks fan first.
If I’m watching with my own eyes and the team looks better defensively and offensively with Trae off the court, I’m going to want to explore change.
That doesn’t mean I hate Trae. It doesn’t mean I’m not a Hawks fan.
It means I want the Atlanta Hawks to be a better team.
