I’ve built a Maya tool called KZ Tracker. It tracks points from reference footage and converts them into animation curves (TX/TY), so you can pull timing and motion directly from video.. Not meant to replace animation just a quick foundation to build on.

When I made this animation as a style test, I started flirting with stepped animation. There’s something about the texture it adds to the motion that I can’t get enough of.
A few months ago, I started watching Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal with my kids and we were instantly hooked. As a personal challenge, I recreated the first scene of the series in 3D, with Blender, of course. A lot of work and fun.
Blender 4.4.3, Cycles.

This film is a slow, meditative masterwork -- it really deserves to be seen in full
When you find that the character's hair is a bit sparse, leading to baldness and you don't want to redo it, you can try using shallow depth of field to avoid awkwardness.😆
PS :trying a new addon for hair simulation , works great!!!

@mrinalfreestyle@InstinctionGame I love this! My small note is that the sudden slowdown kills the size illusion. Anyway... Great stuff man!
I'm inspired every time you post!
