@live_coventry He was a kind, supportive, hardworking gentleman. He helped me so much when I did my 2 world records at the Civic Hall. He worked so hard for the community. Such a sad loss. Condolences to his family.
@ClassicFM The first piece of classical music I bought myself, on cassette, from Boots. I have loved Rachmaninov ever since. Even wrote my university dissertation about him. A wonderful piece that holds a special place in my heart.
@ClassicFM Definitely in my top 3. Absolutely sublime. Takes me back to when I was a child, lying on my bed, listening to an old mono vinyl version of my dad's on my stereo. I loved how the sound washed over me & from that came my love of classical music, my career, my hobby. Everything!!
@CarolineLucas@HughFW@PatrioticMills Increasingly feeling that the labour leadership is just Conservative but with a different colour tie. I want change, not more of the same. Labour need to be careful.
@David_Suchet Thankyou so much for a wonderful evening at Shanklin Theatre. My 10 yr old daughter, Bethany, loves Shakespeare & your masterclass was superb! A level English Lit ruined it for me. Only now am I really starting to appreciate & understand it. And Poirot! Wonderful!
Adored Peter Sallis #botd 1921. Iconic voice thanks to Wallace & Gromit + 37 years of Last of the Summer Wine. Happy times with him filming on location. If you'd like a chance to win this signed pic of Peter from my collection, just repost this Tweet and I'll pick one at random.
@reece_dinsdale Be kind to yourself. My dad passed away earlier this year. This time has felt very different to when my mum passed 7 yrs ago. There is no right way to grieve. Only your way. Take your time. Everything and everyone will be there when you are ready. No rush.
BEWARE @premierinn Free parking listed on their website doesn't mean free and their customer service team will argue that it doesn't say free when it does. They are also incredibly unhelpful when you ring them. Poor customer service! Underwhelmed!
@realmatbaynton Got our tickets. My 10yr old daughter is a huge fan of yours, and loves the play. Bought her ticket as an Xmas present. She is going to be SO excited!!!
@carolvorders is there any plan to extend @themathsfactor further into Ks3 and possibly ks4? My daughter is finding it such a help in year 5 going into 6. I am sure I can't be the only parent who would like it to extend further into the key stages. Please say yes!
@bedrock_wasps@NBBCouncil@abbeynuneaton As a law abiding citizen I already pay the price through my council tax. Closing a car park is not going to solve the problem of antisocial behaviour.
@bedrock_wasps@NBBCouncil@abbeynuneaton Does that include rehearsal nights or just show nights? The building is in use most nights of the week.
Also, @NBBCouncil have not been honest in their statement. Many residents in the area have not been consulted & do not want the car park closed.
@greennuneaton@TheGreenMK@NBBCouncil@abbeynuneaton It will actually put innocent people at greater risk as they will need to walk through the park etc to get to the theatre/scouts/cadets. The antisocial behaviour should be dealt with directly. Shutting a carpark will not fix the problem.
