When you finally get the nerve to talk to a higher up about something that upset you and they brush it off as if it's not something you should've been upset about ... I'm done going to management about things. Guess I'll either quit or go to HR from now on ๐คท #thirdstrike
I've worked every day of October. Today, my only day off until the 16th, and I can't even relax bc my day is loaded I have to drop off an order, get my nails done, go to a wedding, and then of course reception. Somewhere between there, hopefully I'll have time to get groceries.
Someone tell me why my boss sent me home in the middle of a tornado warning after only being at work for an hour. I drive 35 minutes each way on a good day. It took me over 45 minutes to get home because I couldn't even see the road. That hour wasn't worth my time or gas...
Call me crazy, but I just ordered a camera with two way talk for my cat for when we leave in a couple weeks ๐ I just hope it gets here in time ๐ค๐ผ
Also, completely irrelevant, I got in a heated argument yesterday because someone thought the coronaVIRUS was a bacterial infection..... I was shook when they tried arguing with me about it because I thought they were kidding at first
I hate how when I get in an argument with someone about something and I pull up Google and use scholarly articles to see which is right, people think I'm childish. Like no I'm trying to educate you, not belittle you.
@Halfmoonmami I paid $15 for 3-5 day shipping for Trent's bday gifts. I paid that bc I knew it prob wouldn't be there in that time, but I wanted it on time for his bday. It took almost 3 weeks to get here and it was two days after. I was so upset I didn't have anything to give him on his bday
