Since 2015-16, Liverpool have competed in 10 European campaigns.
They have either won it or been knocked out by the team that won it in 7 of those 10. #LFC
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
Anyone blaming that penalty needs to fuck off. If this manager weren't such a coward and a fucking shit bag in that first leg maybe we could have done something this is down the him again. Players look absolutely shattered because he doesn't train them properly
For the past year Slot has moaned about how PL teams don't want to play football and always references PSG as an example of a team which plays football "the right way". Now he has the chance to play PSG again and he comes out with a back 5, parks the bus and plays like Tony Pulis
This sums up the club right now from top to bottom.
None of them get it and none of them care. I don’t think I’ve ever disliked a Liverpool squad more than this current one.
4-0 down, players swapping shirts on the bench, fans leaving on 55 mins singing Alonsos name. This can’t go on, he can’t be allowed to carry on. Get it done now.
Never realised how lucky we were to have players like Jordan Henderson and James Milner.. proper standard setters. This lot just looks fragile; the slightest setback and they completely fall apart. Garbage.
281 - Mohamed Salah has 189 goals and 92 assists in 310 Premier League appearances for Liverpool, the most goals and assists combined any player has for a single club in Premier League history. King.
I honestly don’t think players coming through these days take football seriously enough for this to be beaten. He’s the last of the breed of players only obsessed with the pitch. Ronaldo and him calling it a day brings it to an end
