Thank you @THECC_NYC & thank YOU guys so much for seeing me. This is absolutely a result of your recommendations last year paired with the work I tirelessly put into the music space I love so dearly to make sure emerging artists feel seen & heard.

It was my goal at one point to make it on 30 under 30, and I was so discouraged when that didn’t happen. This recognition coming DIRECTLY from my peers during a time when I’m finally stepping into my light more authentically means SO much more.

hey so I know this is gonna sound wild but we actually need to teach people what organizing means and not just thru sporadic organizing 101 trainings

We do pop up Organizing 101's rather than the rigorous organizing training we want to do because of a myriad of reasons: capacity, funding, burnout, turnover, power struggles, differing organizational ideologies, and more.

We have to address our reality in order to move forward.

Agree 100%. Those who take responsibility in movements need to stay intentional & focused on building people and campaigns up from where they are rather than where we want them to be.

We all need to be real sober right now to assess where we are vs where we wish we were.

Less yelling at people for what they aren't doing & more simultaneous teaching & learning as a group.

Show by leading in our values rather than yelling at ppl for not having any.

People don't have any values because of what Julian pointed out: we don't even teach people.
