What happened in Tennessee is the latest example of a broader erosion of civility and democratic norms. Silencing those who disagree with us is a sign of weakness, not strength, and it wonβt lead to progress.
While in πΈπͺ, my FIL told me about fika time where at least once a day for 30ish minutes people stop work to enjoy time with colleagues & eat cake. Why is this not everywhere? Eating cake with friends should be a priority. I think it would make the world a better place.
My big take away from observing a school in Sweden? Kids are kids no matter. Oh, and Sweden places a good bit of emphasis on teaching geography πΈπͺ
