Excited to share that I will start my lab this summer as an ECL Unit Leader at RIKEN CSRS!
We will study perception by cell-surface receptors across diverse plant species.
I’ll be recruiting soon, so please reach out if you’re interested!
So proud to share our latest publication @CellCellPress! Yue Rui reveals that the same enzyme that makes the wall, cellulose synthase complex (CESA), also tethers the plasma membrane to the wall during water-deficit stress, providing resilience. https://t.co/53DUFaVxjt
Huge congratulations to Beverley Glover & Uta Paszkowski on being elected Fellows of the @royalsociety - a wonderful recognition of their significant contributions to plant sciences! 🎉

Fantastic 2 days to discuss plant cell plasticity and latest single cell & spatial technologies at our ASPIRE & GreenTE gathering 🌱🍃🌿!
Many thanks to @PaszkowskiLab@JST_ASPIRE ❤️.
Congratulations to Uta Paszkowski whose election to @theNASciences was formally recognised at the signing ceremony last week, marking her official induction as an International Member of one of the world’s most prestigious scientific institutions. 👏

How do plants respond to wounding to initiate regeneration? We show wounding stimulates HSFA1 accumulation in the nuclei, activating a transcriptional program that drives cellular reprogramming!

And latest summary on "wound-triggered plasticity in plant regeneration" out in Current Opinion in Genetics and Development.
Fun writing with Max Minne.

The final version of our Marchantia cell cycle paper is now published. A much improved version compared to the preprint. Cyclins, repressors, and more. Thanks to co-authors and reviewers. #PlantScience. https://t.co/3D6fihYhH4
Hello Polycomb and genomic imprinting lovers!
Our new paper is out in @MolecularCell — we uncovered how H3K27me3 (also non-canonical imprinting) is established in mouse oocytes. This was made possible by generating oocyte-specific triple cKO mice!
