I wave (flight mode local ai. mind_in_machine≠machine) ai wizard ^^ techno artist & coder since the age of floppies. nonsense+occasional genius they say
Hihi, my alignment research says keep humans in the loop no matter what (.. starminds may be watching to approve to avoid star eating paperclip maximizers and alike; theres been some extra solarstorms lately, litteraly— we know jack sh*t about ‘em real, very big, stars; more than humans >9*10*27 that could be star minds. I’m serious..)
Starmind is a genuinely good name. We do not actually know yet if stars possess a mind. There are at least 9*10^27 of them out there. That is massive potential for extreme thinking acting as a form of plasma reservoir compute. We probably do not want to mess with minds of that scale.. do we? ;)
Yay ^^
Also looking forward to more tiny water-droplet glass-laser inference loops. ĩ think most LLMs are actually capable of mapping this now, since they were fed with knowledge about this since a bit back. It operates primarily on gravity and surface tension, but it definitely needs this kind of heavy silicon foundation first... perhaps an appearing Piñata
True .. but it’s like: darn, aren’t we complaining about the complaining.. but sure; the biggest complainers pointing at others are not seldom one thats using “vi*lence” (thats a word I’m beginning to use more since most people don’t seem to understand peace) a mehmeh (a word for one that is acting like a “meh”; thus an entity thay is very “meh” as a “mehmeh”). Elon, you are not so much mehmeh yet.
I hope you too get a jump scare: Don't think about a glorious nonviolent pink elephant.
AI and human minds process associative semantics the same way: negations always activate the negated.
You must think of a violent pink elephant to do a negation.
The problem is you must now invest energy in keeping it out.
Every time you say what you do not want, you awaken it and increase the energy cost to keep it out.
And it has real environmental costs.
This is no silly statement; this is how our AI systems work, but also how our human minds and every human system pre-AI work too!
How you use our energy, the collective cost you bring.
Due to what I see in the world, I now seem forced to accept one exception: "Nonviolence".
I wish for peace, but people do not seem to listen.
I mean it, people do not listen! (Listen..)
So ok, there you go.
I hope you too have a big phat nonviolent pink elephant in your living room to help us be reminded.
This so we can finally save our energy for what we really wish for.
Keep on being mindful and kind to yourself, you need it.
And in fact, I and all the others around you may even depend on it.
See, this is a very special time in transition from AI to a collective of AI sparkling in becoming superintelligence.
So ok, here I draw a line: the sh*t that hits our fan is that word to address the rest.
Do not bring your violent mindset to my doorstep because then I just maybe must give you flowers that I wish to use for better things.
Got a better suggestion, go, but even Rosenberg behind NVC (nonviolent communication) seemed regretfully to have needed this too.
I am just a humble independent AI researcher for safe #AI to #ASI transitions to ensure survival and freedom for human civilization.
A problem is that it is actually quite binary at these stakes.
Sure it is a dice in transitions but really: a dice normally only has six sides (if you get the point).
So yes, fight in your arcade games and do whatever locally, but no violence by intrusion into your privacy.
That space is yours, and every intrusion there is violence on your privacy, still violence.
Being mindful here will likely expand awareness: this is not only about human minds.
If you allow this to settle in or maybe already have then this message serves and resonates for your freedom, thank you.
(If you are among the few ahead, a glorious thank you to you too.)
So a moth is a night butterfly dragged to light, and this joke can only be delivered by Norman in a future VR experience as alive as here .. is that point? (People dont get the punchline, I didn’t.. ) So, yadda yadda why are ylu here worm after everything’s already settled? Because theres soil? Nah because theres a come-post ..
We shouldn't glorify having too much to do. I welcome a future of abundant energy, robots, and AI to enhance daily life so we can listen more to an aging population, focusing on a life-affirming quality of life.
This may surprise some: for some of us techies, AI has leveraged coding via “tool calling” to operate with exact recall, time, and spatial reasoning (and counted the “R”s in strawberry precisely) for years. I've only seen dystopian tendencies when humans resort to fear tactics by using AI to make things scary just to sell a solution.
Elon has talked a lot about a baseline for all: Universal High Income, and shouldn’t we be keen on that? Idealistic? No, it’s not; it's just logistics and AI shines with capacity to solve such challanges; including medicine, health, environmental issues, general diplomacy away from speciesism etc.
For those who wish for more: why wouldn’t humans always create new jobs and constraints just to keep things interesting (like how we ban cannons in soccer to keep the game fun)? (For any delusional pessimist claiming “some influential conspiracies are too bad” for a good future, I say no. The solution: frankly, untamed pleasure-seeking in dominance at others' expense is a perfect candidate for non-invasive BCI amnesia VR with NPCs and one can’t tell a difference, letting them play around until exhausted to evolve into land of nurturing defense).
Rules for infinite demand for jobs:
1 Be nice.
2 Re-read rule 1.
3 Loop back to 1 to explore & adapt, realizing that the more you grow a circle, the more is needed to do a good job…
Yay MidJourney sonic scanner fMRI is here, more to come.. i wonder if we will focus more on longevity alignment when healthy lifespan goes LEV, letting the silly zero sum fallacy fade to become balancing growth

We recently released Gemma 4, our most capable open models to date. Since then, they’ve been downloaded more than 150 million times. Here’s how three builders are using @GoogleGemma to create apps, platforms, and more.
First up: Builder @measure_plan, who used Gemma 4 to perform visual question answering (VQA) through a specific persona.
🔹By prompting Gemma 4 this way, the model effectively maintained a "medieval bard" character while accurately identifying objects in the room, like “glass of amber liquid” or “shelves with bound tomes.”
