I have two exes that just make my skin crawl.

The first is my ex-wife, she was the reason for my nightmares, my anxieties, everything.
She was mentally, emotionally and physically abusive to me. I could not do anything without her permission, not even go to my family's for a holiday. Some of her reasons were either they didn't like her, or I'm fucking one of the women in my family (this included my own mother and one of my little sisters.)
It had gotten even worse after we lost our baby. She would blame me for it constantly, it drove me to me start drinking a lot. Then she would start trying to rape me, though in her words, I'm her husband and it's not rape. She either yell at me while I was awake and to the point my mom could hear her (we had to live at my mom's for a little because we had went homeless and living out of a tent. Unfortunately the tent was ripped to shreds because of a tornado, thankfully we were safe.) or she would try to do things in my sleep.
If I was sick or just had a rough day working out in blistering heat, I would still have to do everything for her, including cooking or laundry. If I didn't, especially if I had a sunburn from working outside, she would slap me as hard as she could.

The second was an ex-girlfriend that just manipulated everyone. She cheated on me (I only caught her once doing multiple things, but her friends told me there was more.) with a guy that was older than her own father and got pregnant with him, but somehow it was my fault?
But I had also found shit on her and spilled to those same friends that she was pretending to be their boyfriends! It was two (adult) friends and she had been pretending to be their boyfriends (twin brothers) for YEARS. Yes, that's right, years like since she was 12 and they were in their twenties. She was the boys before she had became friends with them, and even then she had lied about her age to them, yes she had even lied to me saying she was in her thirty's and she was really 19.

So those are my worst experiences, but even though I went through those things, I still move forward and try my best.

I'll go first, I had an ex-boyfriend once get mad at me for owning a "toy" because he wanted to be the one to buy it for me and threatened to leave since he thought I was cheating on him 🫩

Why does this have to always be a thing? Why can't friends be just that, friends. This doesn't have to be an episode of FRIENDS where everyone has relationship and/or sleeps with each other. Real people of all genders can have a platonic friendship without others breathing their own head cannon in it like they do in the MHA community....
