@mhsssj@RacingTerritory Leading laps and having a race winning car are 2 very different things. He’s taken advantage of Bristol and the Toyotas having problems from time to time but when it comes down to the end of the races he has yet to show close out speed. Blaney was the best car at Bristol.
I feel this is a little misleading with how many of these laps came from Bristol but yeah, would’ve been nice to steal that win at Kansas but it’s coming.
Only six drivers have led more than 200 laps this season in the Cup Series:
824- Denny Hamlin
608- Kyle Larson
428- Tyler Reddick
416- Christopher Bell
310- Ryan Blaney
275- Chase Elliott
“tried to be commercial free as many laps as we could towards the finish” son
FOX went to commercial with 9 to go at talladega (they went to commercial 7 laps prior)
I stopped by the North Carolina booth at the "Great American State Fair" on the National Mall today.
The state decided not to participate because of the high costs so the booth is sponsored by private orgs.
Last thing I was say on this: if anyone has experience on “being immature on social media platforms” it’s Kyle Larson. Hocevar fans can bring up 2020 all they want but that just makes his opinions on this matter that more valid.
As with every episode of @BussinWTB, Taylor Lewan and Will Compton love to ask NASCAR drivers about Carson Hocevar. This week, it was Kyle Larson who drew the question. And he gave an insightful answer. 👀
“Hocevar, honestly, I respect his talent. I think he’s extremely good and fast. I like his aggressiveness, even, but I would say it goes overboard a lot of the time.
“For me, he’s young, but he’s more immature than what his age is. I have his little Twitch stream thing pop up on my Instagram feed every now and then, and I’m like, ‘Dude, this guy is like an 8-year-old.’
“That’s where I lose a little bit of respect because I’m like, ‘This guy could be the future of our sport, and he’s acting like he’s 8 years old.” 🤣
As a driver, Larson sees the talent and potential of Hocevar.
“He’s phenomenal. He outruns his teammates by a lot every week. He’s really good. He’s going to be around for a long time, and he’s going to win a lot of races.
“I think once he definitely harnesses himself some and kinda dials back that aggression a little bit, and manages a race better, I think he can win multiple races a year, and he’s close to that. He’s definitely gotten better over the last couple of years.” 🔥

Ben Kennedy on whether this event could return: "What I can tell you is that we feel like this is a tremendously successful event. Obviously we want to be respectful that this is an active military base at the same time.
"...We would love to return. We're also cognizant of the fact that this is active military base, and we will want to be mindful of that."
