@JediBearBob Haha. If reviewer 2 really can't deal with the prospect of a women just existing and being a decision-maker too, maybe this could work😩
I swear some feel like they miss the good ol' time when women couldn't vote or make decisions. Women rights? We already have property rights.
@DorfmanJeffrey Wow. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your efforts at using more inclusive language.
It's very upsetting that such a small inclusive gesture receives that much push back.
Very grateful to have found a professional spot where I don't encounter that low of a level.
@janekolodinsky@DorfmanJeffrey I'd rather we be able to call random humans he, she or they. If we're still not able to put 'she' anywhere, they will soon be visualized by everyone as a man. People are surprised when Someone et al. is a women someone in economics *sigh*

@carly_urban Congrats! Thanks for sharing this, and thanks for being that trail-blazer (literally and figuratively). I don't know you, but economics needs more examples of success like yours!
Learning French, played a charming song by Brassens for my daughter, about a gorilla. And, I have just looked up the lyrics, and I've decided you can't trust the French.
@jsrioux What I've understood is that Arabic has many dialects and they are different enough from each other that it's important to pick one before starting to learn.
