I love the nba and know how hype it can be but the biggest "moment" is usually the game ending and the win being secured, buzzer beater or maybe an ejection or something.

@7ahul on top of the other points most cricket format is to long to have a dense crowd sitting around and watching for 5 days. Yes there's other formats but test cricket is the pinnacle and you cannot sit and watch that intently like soccer lol. Even an ODI, and t20 isn't as important
