In 2017, @Kabadiconnect mapped and surveyed 2500 informal waste sector stakeholders to create a comprehensive dataset on Chennai's informal waste ecosystem.
The resulting report, can be downloaded from the @worldbank’s Data Innovation Fund Project website 1/3
The contents of the survey include:
- design and deployment methodology
- stakeholder demographics
- business characteristics
- material analysis at super-category (paper, plastic, glass, metal) and subcategory levels and
- key insights gained from the research. 2/3
And we are proud to have been able to present our approach to effective and inclusive waste management by working holistically with the informal sector.
