We cannot talk about building and sustaining a robust economy without addressing corruption. All the rhetoric of addressing the economic downturn in our midst, and even thinking of 2063 goals, are vain if we are not committed to dealing with corruption.

This is why I would like to condemn in the strongest words the games being played on the Anti Corruption Bureau and its director.

This is uncalled for and we should all join hands to resist it. Hands off the ACB, hands off Martha Chizuma.

Ahead of the DPP convention this year and the national elections in 2025, I have decided to put my name forward to contest for office. I am interested in the Presidency of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and subsequently of the Malawi nation.

The situation of our politics, bearing heavily on our economy which has worsened the levels of poverty, has necessitated my interest in politics. I feel that the knowledge I have acquired across the years should be utilised in charting a development path for Malawi
