Bitcoin works because a distributed set of independent nodes reaches consensus on a shared digital history; what transactions happened, in what order, without needing to trust any single party. Once that agreement locks in, the network treats it as objective reality for money and contracts.
Ekstra is attempting the same mechanism, just mapped onto the physical world: multiple independent, opted-in cameras and sensors observe the same bounded event, cross-check for spatial/temporal consistency, and produce a challengeable “Proof of Perception.” That proof becomes the shared, verifiable state that autonomous systems, robots, agents, delivery fleets, traffic controllers; can treat as ground truth. No single camera has to be trusted; the network’s threshold agreement is what matters.
