Onchain finance can enforce any rule you write. What it can not do is checkwhether the numbers behind the rule are real.
That gap has a name. It is called trust. And private credit runs entirely on it.
Rialo solves a problem that has been holding back private credit onchain.
When businesses borrow money, lenders set conditions. Things like revenue thresholds or debt ratios. These are loan covenants, and checking them requires access to the borrower's real financial records.
That information does not live onchain. It lives in accounting systems and bank statements.
Smart contracts can enforce rules perfectly, but they cannot verify whether the data they receive is correct. If manipulated numbers are submitted, the contract will still execute. It will just enforce the wrong outcome.
This is the verification gap in onchain private credit.
This is what @RialoHQ does. Borrower financial data is evaluated inside a confidential execution environment. The raw data remains private, but the result of the covenant check can be confirmed by anyone.
Smart contracts then act on that verified result.
Instead of relying on manual reporting and trust, covenant compliance can be computed and proven.
Private credit onchain has needed this infrastructure from the beginning. Rialo is building the layer that makes it possible.
