Elon muskβs family tree needs its own documentary series, from billion-dollar businesses to a family full of headlines, this isnβt just a family tree anymore, itβs a whole forest, how many episodes do you think netflix would need to cover all this drama? π
@TumishoMasha When Covid shut down every stage in this country, it was the EFF that stepped in and financially supported artists who had been with the movement since 2013, while the government left creatives to starve.
When Gayton McKenzie's department went after Makhadzi, a successful black woman, the EFF stood up and defended her, insisting she was paid for work she did, not handouts.
In Parliament, the EFF was the voice saying the Performers' Protection Bill didn't go far enough, because actors like you still weren't earning royalties and still had no labour protection as freelancers. We fought for your residuals, Tumisho. Where were you?
And every EFF rally, year after year, books local artists and pays them. No party in this country supports South African creatives more consistently.
So spare us the 'hates black success' script. The EFF hates stolen success and fake success, and defends earned success. You'd know that if you spent as much time reading the record as you do performing outrage for engagement.
A SAFTA from 2012 doesn't make you a political analyst. Stick to auditions. The Fighters will handle the politics.
South Africaβs mining industry still has serious money but it feels like old money. Iβm more interested in finding people in tech who are generating the same kind of wealth. Iβm not only focused on tech but I do think tech is the new money.

We may not like him as a country but the truth is Bushiri had an impact on Tshwane's economy.
Go check Tshwane's showgrounds since his departure.
That place was buzzing every weekend with travellers from all corners of the country.
Thank you my dear brother President @CyrilRamaphosa for your warm congratulations and offer of support. We look forward to working with you and all who share this vision as we make this a truly African Grand Prix in every way possible, and take motorsport to new heights on our continent.
On behalf of the government and people of South Africa, I offer warm congratulations to His Excellency President @PaulKagame and the government and people of Rwanda on securing a 10-year agreement to host the Formula 1 African Grand Prix.
South Africa shares in the pride with which Rwanda is preparing to fly the chequered flag for our continent with the hosting of a globally prestigious event at the planned Bugesera circuit from the early 2030s.
This contract is a recognition of the capabilities of the Rwandan nation and of our continent more broadly.
As host of the first Grand Prix on African soil in 1993, and organiser of other major global events, South Africa will be happy to provide any support we may be invited to share.
The F1 African Grand Prix is another lustrous addition to Rwandaβs growing collection of top international events, including the UCI-classified Tour du Rwanda cycling race.
Congratulations, Rwanda.
You are in pole position to make all of Africa proud and take motorsport to new heights.
