As a lawyer, an advocate and life member of the law society of Kenya, I participated in electing new leaders of the society. I do expect that the incoming team will make the society more vibrant and improve on its performance.

The County Assembly of Meru approved Mr Jacob Kirari as the second Clerk to the Assembly.Meru County Assembly Service Board appointed him as such and I was pleased to swear him in. I congratulate him on his appointment and wish him well as he discharges the duties of his office.

Today I hosted United States Agency For International Development Kenya and East Africa Deputy Mission Director madam Heather A. Schildge at our County Assembly whereby we discussed many issues relating to development and partnership between the County Assembly and the USaid.
