@Sam_Phalen "Buy low, discount" is the only way JR operates. And with the lockout coming and no guarantee how much season they'll be next year, he'll tell Getz to do nothing or very little. Typical Sox.
@Josh_Frydman@WGNNews@GNSportsTV Given the Sox injury history since around 2018 and the way things have gone south for a number of key players in that time, I'd be VERY concerned. This organizations track record doesn't inspire confidence.
@stevestone@SoxNerd I have in my library Harry Caray's audio of the two batters you struck out in that game. He was on TV at the time but I was able to record the audio portion. You actually fell behind Rudi two balls, no strikes. Dal Maxville was on third bluffing like he was going to steal.
@MLB He's doing very well. Unfortunately with only a two year deal and the Sox still years away from contending, he'll either leave as a free agent or the Sox will trade him for whatever they can get by the next trade deadline.
@haffball7 This absolutely won't last. Besides what does it matter they already have the worst record in the A.L. well on their was to yet another 100+ loss season. This franchise is a complete total disaster starting with the ossified owner.
@SamR33v3s Well played sir. Today was a bona fide embarrassment. Nothing changes until JR is gone and Ishbia fires people on the baseball side of the operation.
@Sam_Phalen As soon as Justin Ishbia takes control, Getz will be on the unemployment line and no MLB team will be calling him just like with Hahn and Williams. All yes men to JR. At least Williams had the sense and the guts to be aggressive and wound upo winning a World Series.
Congratulations to the Chicago Bears, a statement win, and it guarantees their first winning season since 2018. Thatโs more progress than I couldโve hoped for for this season.๐
