I initially joined the Azuki discord a little more than a month before mint after a friend found it. The vibe, technology (ERC-721A), design aesthetics, and most of all steamboy’s art (I loved playing OW) were all reasons I minted Azuki and have stayed in the garden.

Upon the initial reveal, and seeing how unique the Kabuki Facepaint trait looked, I knew I had to get one with it. In particular, this Azuki was on the top of my list to acquire for the ninja-esque look (it’s one of only two Kabukis with a gaiter). Luckily, I was able to grab it when it went on the market a month or so after the reveal. It has been in my wallet ever since!

It's no surprise that most people outside of crypto hate NFTs. I would too if all I heard about were prices.
