India's civil aviation authority has paved the way for Brazil's @embraer to offer its E-Jets range of narrow-body regional aircraft (E190, E195, and the E195-E2) to Indian airlines. The air worthiness approval bodes well for the company whose E175 aircraft is already operated in India for regional air connetivity by @OfficialStarAir . India has a requirement of nearly 100 aircraft annually, out of which there is a demand of atleast 30 aircraft which are in the 80 to 150 seater category.
