A sad day in Gilgil, a sad day for Utumishi fraternity, a sad in Kenya, a sad day for Kenyans.

Today I accompanied Sen Sifuna to Gilgil for the Requiem Mass for the 16 girls we lost at Utumishi Girls Academy. And my heart is surely broken…watching those coffins being phased in, the flowers placed on top, the photos of those innocent girls being eased in. Oh the families wailing and mourning, my heart is saddened. They for sure didn’t deserve this.

May the Lord grant them peace, that surpasses human understanding, May He see them through this difficult season.

May the souls of those beautiful girls rest in eternal peace 🤍

The arrest of former Chief Justice David Maraga ought to concern every Kenyan.

The Constitution guarantees the right to peacefully assemble, demonstrate and express dissent. These freedoms are not privileges extended at the convenience of the State but fundamental rights that lie at the heart of our democratic order.

A constitutional democracy is measured not by how it treats those who agree with the government, but by how it treats those who challenge it. The protection of constitutional freedoms must remain steadfast, regardless of who is exercising them.

@LindaMwananchi_ wishes to clarify unequivocally, that of late, kenyans have been treated to all manner of political theatrics by the Kenya-kwanza regime intended to distract their focus from demanding better governance and policies, transparency and accountability, fair and equitable distribution of national resources and opportunities, fidelity to the Rule of Law and constitutionalism from the Kenya Kwanza Regime.

Hitherto, Kenyans are grappling with inordinately high cost of living exacerbated by recent fuel hikes, particularly diesel fuel, runaway Corruption, overtaxation, failed education and heath systems, yet the failed Kenya-Kwanza regime is busy applying diversionary tactics to distract Kenyans as th only way to keep itself in power. Among the diversionary strategies applied by the failed Kenya-Kwanza Regime include:

1. A narrative to import Ebola into Kenya and to build an Ebola quarantine center in Laikipia in order to distract Kenyans from demanding reduction of fuel hikes and Rejecting the punitive Finance Bill of 2026;

2. An impeachment motion of President Ruto, to divert Kenyans from agitating reduction of fuel prices and rejection of the Finance Bill, 2026;

3. The PR arrest and arraignment of Analo-the Nairobi County Chief of Urban Planning and then flipping it by blaming his theft and corruption on Lindamwananchi’s Presidential Candidate Senator @edwinsifuna and not the Nairobi County MCAs, yet they are the ones with the direct mandate of over-sighting the Governor and his executive;

4. President Ruto deliberately hiring luxurious private jets for personal enjoyment and opulence to oversees with no economic benefits to the Kenya , deliberately to spark Kenyans’ anger and rage and to divert them from the most pressing national issues;

5. A Narrative that Lindamwananchi’s presidential candidate Senator @edwinsifuna should not desire or engage with @rigathi the Leader of @DCP_Party, claiming that @rigathi is a tribalist and worse than President Ruto, yet President has appointed more than 90% of the key parastatal heads from his tribe,

@LindaMwananchi_ wishes to assure Kenyans that exposing the ills and the ineptitude of the Kenya-Kwanza government and its ilks and surrogates, to wit, the broad-based mongrel and Linda Ground, both of which are hitherto defunct and amorphous, remains our number one priority,

We wish to remind Kenyans that the crocodile in the room is sending the RUTO Administration home and making him WANTAM in 2027, all the sideshows we are witnessing are mere Lizards aimed at distracting all of us from the main price.

@LindaMwananchi_ therefore calls upon all our supporters to remain calm and vigil, to avoid falling into the desperate traps and distractions so far set by this outgoing regime. Let our focus and eyes be firmly engraved on the price, which is sending RUTO and his sympathizers home in 2027.

As a staunch member of Linda Mwananchi @LindaMwananchi_ ,I wish to clarify to the public that Linda Mwananchi is not affiliated with the People's Renaissance Movement party(PM)

While PM was founded by one of the core Linda Mwananchi principals, Hon. Caleb Amisi @Honcalebamisi, the Linda Mwananchi remains an independent movement and should not be linked to or portrayed as part of the PM party.

As a movement, we shall await official direction from Sen. Edwin Sifuna @edwinsifuna and Hon. Babu Owino @HEBabuOwino and other Principals regarding any future political party position or alignment.

We therefore urge individuals(bloggers) who were seen at the PM headquarters and others spreading misinformation to stop falsely associating Linda Mwananchi with the PM party. Stop misleading the public.

Any official communication concerning the movement's political direction will be issued through its recognized leadership and official channels.
