UPDATE - AS OF 5 PM: Mas lumalakas pa ang Typhoon #FranciscoPH (Mekkhala) habang patuloy na kumikilos pa-west northwestward sa Philippine Sea, ayon sa 5 PM bulletin ng PAGASA ngayong June 22.

Huling namataan ang sentro nito sa layong 625 km silangan ng Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

Ayon sa PAGASA, posibleng maabot ng bagyo ang super typhoon category sa loob ng susunod na 12 oras. Gayunman, mananatili itong malayo sa kalupaan ng Pilipinas at inaasahang lalabas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility sa Biyernes, bagama’t posible pa rin ang pagbabago sa direksyon nito.
