Despite the Bengals’ poor start, I do think that Myles Murphy has flashed some serious edge setting ability thus far.
Could be a sign of things to come
Tough loss, but can't believe the amount of positives that were on the field today. Burrow looked himself and played well without his WR2
How about this cornerback duo though? Hill was great against both the run and pass today while CTB has legitimate star potential
You know, as much I love Hayden Hurst, paying above market value on a multi year deal for a position that’s of least importance in this offence wouldn’t make sense. He’s good, but not THAT good
In addition, he’s on the wrong side of 30. Get real
Don’t be quick to write off Daxton Hill filling the void at FS
It’s easy to forget but there was a ton of panic when George Iloka was cut for Bates to start.
Difference? Daxton is a first rounder with a top 3 defensive coordinator
#keystosuccess vs. Buffalo
1) Aerial attack - can’t let those dominant Buffalo lb’s get comfortable playing shallow defence
2) Contain and push the pocket - Allen has struggled throwing inside the numbers when there’s defenders in his face
3) Turnover battle W - Enough said.
@diddy62285 Played right tackle in both college in Houston. Smith has battled injuries and only played guard in pro thus far. Adenji… he’s not even a swing level tackle
Based off tape and starting experience alone, I’d likely favour Max Scharping to fill the hole at Right Tackle.
Make that 2 years in a row the #Bengals are primed for a playoff run without their starting RT.
Have to be more creative on defense.
Can’t only call Cover 2, Brady will find the seams. Corners seemed over-matched in man thus far. D-line has created zero interior push.
Where are the nickel blitzes?!
Tough injury to Trey, but super excited to see Ossai to work against the Bucs. Think he’s looked great in ‘22
Don’t be surprised if you see a sack or two from Ossai. The traits pop off on tape
