WATCH | A group identifying as Vatsonga Machangani is marching to the SA Human Rights Commission this morning, demanding protection against what they describe as injustices inflicted upon them.
[HAPPENING TODAY]
The case against suspended SAPS Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola and other accused in the controversial SAPS/Medicare 24 contract has been postponed to August 28.
The state says that as a result of Medicare 24 boss Vusimusi "Cat" Matlala's case being separated from these accused means there needs to be amendments to the charges sheet.
The State says that as a result of Matlala's proceedings yesterday, where he pleaded guilty to all charges, agreed to turn state witness and expose other high profile SAPS officials, there might also be additional accused added, that is why it has not finalized the charge sheet.
The state also says during this postponement period, the docket will be transferred to the USB's of all the legal teams representing the accused.

This morning, I would like to extend special appreciation to Adv. Zola Majavu for his exceptional work ethic and for making himself available whenever drug syndicates seek to undermine our efforts.
Another victory in a case that should never have been brought before the courts.
We Will Not Rest Until Mazwi Is Found.
Today, we marched to the SAPS Head Office and handed over a memorandum on the abduction of Mazwi Mpumelelo Kubheka, demanding urgent national intervention.
Mazwi was abducted in a brazen incident, and despite arrests being made, suspects were later released; leaving his family and the nation without answers.
ActionSA will not stop until justice is served.
#BringMazwiBack #JusticeForMazwi
The lack of outrage and concern from mainstream media and our leadership around the Mazwi story is concerning.
But it is also illuminating the apprehension from our politicians to address the illegal immigration issue and its impact on local citizens.
The fear of being called xenophobic supercedes the need to protect your own country and its people.
