The county’s economy is still characterised by oligopolies, which is a few companies owned by a few white people dominating over 90% of the market share in all industries.
This structure keeps the economy in very few hands, constrains competition and economic growth.
They think every movement is funded because they come from a system where numbers are often bought, transported and bribed.
What shocks them is seeing people show up simply because they are tired.
This coming Thursday, the National Assembly will vote whether the PC on COGTA must look into implications on the non-recognition of Kingships of AmaHlubi and other similarly aggrieved traditional communities.
This is a necessary step to correct the wrongs of the colonial era where Kingdoms and identities of nations were destroyed.
