@dandigangi It's actually not as bad if you take a layered approach and use the excellent tools out there these days. Standing on the shoulders of folks that dealt with all the obnoxiousness is a nice place to be!
@npr I know this podcast Snafu feels bad and there was probably some subscription loss (for the moment) but I got to relive some great episodes of my favorite podcasts like @HiddenBrain and @StretchandBob so the bug wasn't all bad!
@_nathanieldavis Depending on the situation, is there something wrong with inlining everything on an HTML page? Modern chrome should be able to run most everything and if you slim down what you use you can just serve it without running a "real" server.
Python comes with batteries included; Ruby comes with a pretty random smattering of batteries; JavaScript is like "just strap 2,000 cells together to make your own battery; it worked for Tesla".
