@PlayApex There's a bug atm with the 6th Anniversary Event where we can't gain any more Points past 5,000 in the Prize Track. Maybe that's because most previous events ended at 5k?
Also the game crashes randomly when checking the Challenges Tab.
Tonight is my 6th year anniversary as a @Twitch partner/ambassador. Here is where I am after almost 7 years of content creation:
40 - 90 CCV Average
600ish subs
28.5k followers
Based on those metrics after that long period of time, I am a failure in many people's opinion. The numbers are not high enough to attract many sponsors. But I don't consider myself a failure. Why?
Because I'm a person, not a corporation. My community comprises of around 1000 individuals who come through my stream every week, more if you extend it to a month. More if you count people who like me but just don't like streams. Those who come aren't watching me for one particular game either. No matter what I do, hundreds of people are still in my corner. Those 600 subscriptions? Poultry to some after nearly 7 years. But that's 600 people who give over $5 a month to see me keep doing it. Some of whom barely have $5 to give. 28.5k followers is nothing to some but a lifelong dream to others.
Success is a wild beast. Whether or not you are successful should never be determined by what others think of you or what a company determines is your value. Only you can determine if you are a success story.
After 6 years, what I learned is you Must be grateful for the community that you have. Over the years, chronic pain has kept me off the air many times, and depression almost as much. Helping to run a charity for 60 hours a week, and then getting in front of a camera for another 40 can be a daunting task. During that time, many people have decided that I'm not the streamer for them. But I view it like this: Let's make up easy numbers. I throw a party and invite 50 people every night. 20 show up. The other 30 were sick, found a different party they would rather be at, or were going through their own life struggles and just weren't in the mood to party. If I sit at the table with my guests and complain to those 20 who did show up how upset I am that the other 30 didn't, I'm being a jerk. Because those 20 people did show up. They took the time out of their day to come to my party. I owe it to them to focus on making the best party I can for those 20 people.
This is my anniversary gift to you. No matter what you do as a profession or hobby, be happy for the community you have. Writer, streamer, game developer, artist, content creator, balloon animal professional. Whatever it is you do. Focus on and be grateful for the people who show up for you. All the other noise is jealousy, envy, insecurity, or giant corporations trying to tell you you aren't enough. I'm telling you you are. Don't let yourself focus on being sad or upset. You could be doing better if you just did XYZ. Focus on the people at the party.
What I have learned is sometimes it's okay to be mediocre. I'll never be the best streamer. But to those 20 people, I throw one hell of a party.
You can love, be amazed and appreciate Baldur's Gate 3 and also be excited, nervous and hopeful that Starfield will be amazing.
You don't have to compare, bash and rag on fans of one or the other.
The only people that lose when we do that is us. Gamers. Uplift, don't punch. 👍
After 2 months of constant internet issues, as the final solution, they replaced all the cables outside and inside the house on Thursday. First test stream back is live now (:

If you disagree with people just wanting to live their lives the way they feel comfortable with themselves then you can fuck right off and unfollow me.
Live and let love, not a hard concept to understand.
People complained so much about the way they felt left out of verified badges that this man took them away when they were freeeeee and made everyone pay for them and now people want them for free again LMAOOOOO
@jemalkiinlove Ah ofc, how could we forget that hair is THE defining characteristic to a person‘s identity. How silly of us. Now, here‘s more from a 2000yo book that was clearly NOT translated a hundred times over, and whos real meaning is still intact and pristine. SMFH
Bruh. It's 2023, can we get Toxicity and Gate-Keepy Shit out of speedrunning? We're out here playing video games, it's not worth trying to put down others for playing your game.
