@AVGirl4Life Wait until they discover how much more money they’ll have saved if they can only save a nickel a day for an entire year, considering the impending discontinuation of the penny.
@saniyafatma1278 I believe it could be avoided by directing the delivery to a specific shelf. I have a shelf where I place the delivery details, and 90% of the time, they use it. Some people just don’t pay attention and yes I do blame those people for not paying attention to that obvious detail.
@Avabelly__ It shouldn’t be about the percentage of the bill it should be about the time you were there if you’re there 2 hours that’s still good money
@FreedomNow26@FarmGirlCarrie IMO table service is an entry-level job and deserves minimum wage. If I’m at your table for an hour and and you have 3,4,5 tables and you make over $15 an hour. IMO I should only be required to pay minimum wage which makes my tip $3,$4 or $5, and you should be grateful for it.
@FarmGirlCarrie IMO table service is an entrylevel job Expectation should align with minimum wage. In Florida that’s $15 an hour, If a server exceeded that hourly rate through tips, I believe that’s a fair income, and the focus on demanding more feels misplaced given the nature of the work.
@Gosleepriya It’s a trick question - deliberately underspecified problem — the kind designed to make the solver look foolish no matter what they say. The author holds all the power because they never defined the rules of interpretation.
@Jassmini2 Ok a 30 year old man wants to have a family works hard builds his career to a level that he can afford to get married and have kids finds a woman who is compatible but 18-23 and her only job would be to care for the husband the kids and the house, and that’s wrong because why?
@messedupfoods Imagine not cooking the food, not bringing it to the table, and failing to refill a single drink... but still expecting a 40% tip. 🤡
Menu prices are already inflated—tipping should go back to the 10% standard. It’s an entry-level position, it’s not a career path to stop on.
