This video was a 10/10 after 12 hours.

At 3am I gave up and went to sleep, and woke up to a 2/10.

So what did I do to turn things around? Nothing.

However, viewing the video in the context of the channel showed me that it wasn't an issue of retention or CTR, but rather just a slow starter.

Not every video will be a 1/10 instantly, and that's okay.

I'd love to know, what would you have done differently in this scenario?

After I looked at the video in the context of the channel, I realized that the metrics were on par for other videos even though it was getting significantly less views.

Sometimes it is tempting to freak out and start changing things ESPECIALLY when it has been over 12 hours.
