■ Mshini slowed the tempo or killed our momentum. Lie❌️
■ Mshini kept making risky back passes. Lie❌️
■ Mshini stalled the attack. Lie❌️

If Mshini had a terrible game beyond the missed chances, show us. Point to the moments. Explain the football. Don't just repeat a narrative because you already decided you don't like the player.

Coach Da Cruz didn't select Mshini because he's been at Chiefs for 5 years. He selected him because Mshini offered the qualities and options he wanted from the No.10 position. Look at the patterns of play with Mshini there and compare that with the 2nd half...

And that's exactly how we should judge him: on his actual performance. Some are judging him on his performance, acknowledged🤝🏾

But here's where the Mshini haters suddenly lose their objectivity.

The midfield was poor. The midfield offered very little control, progression or creativity. Yet somehow, Mshini must carry the responsibility for everyone else's shortcomings in that midfield because admitting that other players were also poor would interfere with the agenda.
