Thanks to @LemaruX for pointing out the @sdgelectronics video on this (and @KaisertechUK for stocking it). This tripod connects to my JBC vacuum pump and gently pulls up an SMD IC whilst I apply heat, the metal square directs the heat to desolder it.
I need to make a video on it.
