Too many of you don't know the story of Damar Hamlin, and it shows. So, let me educate you in the most simplistic way I can.

Damar Hamlin was a 6th-round pick that had to earn his roster spot in the most competitive DB room in the #NFL. He did and earned the primary backup role to a pair of All-Pro.

He was then forced into action due to injury and played well enough that he became the #Bills plan of the future at Safety.

Then he took a 1 in a billion shot, and his heart stopped. And we all watched a man lie lifeless on a football field as his teammates around him cried.

And you know what he did? He lived.

Except he didn't just live. He lived a life that, by consequence, has saved countless lives around him. Whether it be money or education or AEDs, him living that day has saved countless lives.

And what has he asked for? Nothing. And what has he done? Oh, just all of the above while simultaneously earning an NFL roster spot after going through the most unique rehab in league history.

So we can either ask if he should be invited to a party, OR we can continue to support one of the best stories in sports history.

Yea, I'll do the latter.
