“Don’t Tell Me You Love Me” - Night Ranger
The song helped introduce Night Ranger to a wider audience, boosted significantly by heavy rotation of its music video on MTV in the early days of the channel. It peaked at #40 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Say It Ain't So" is from Weezer's debut album, The Blue Album (1994). Written by Rivers Cuomo, the lyrics are deeply autobiographical.
Released as a single, the track became a hit on alternative radio and helped the album sell millions of copies. Produced by Ric Ocasek (of The Cars), the album marked the beginning of the so-called "geek rock" of the 90s, with Weezer mixing nerdy, emo and classic rock references in an extremely captivating way.
Country Roads should become our song.
They should play it prior to any USMNT 🇺🇸 game, the entire stadium sings along prior to the Star Spangled Banner.
The players will feel it, make it a part of our soccer culture.
Let’s make it happen.
