१. फ्रेंड का नाम बिहार युवा आयोग है।

२. फ्रेंड के जन्म प्रमाण पत्र पर 08 जुलाई 2025 की तारीख दर्ज है। इसी दिन तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री श्री नीतीश कुमार की अध्यक्षता में बिहार कैबिनेट ने बिहार युवा आयोग के गठन को मंजूरी दी थी।

३. फ्रेंड के आयोग में 1 अध्यक्ष, 2 उपाध्यक्ष और अधिकतम 7 सदस्यों की नियुक्ति की जानी थी। लेकिन आज तक किसी भी अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष या सदस्य की नियुक्ति का स्पष्ट प्रमाण सार्वजनिक रूप से दिखाई नहीं देता।

४. फ्रेंड का जन्म ऐसे समय में हुआ, जब राज्य में विधानसभा चुनाव होने वाले थे। इसलिए सवाल उठता है कि क्या युवाओं का ध्यान सरकार की ओर आकर्षित करने के लिए फ्रेंड को जन्म दिया गया था?

५. फ्रेंड बिहार युवा आयोग का वर्तमान समय में कोई स्पष्ट अस्तित्व दिखाई नहीं देता। न यह पता चल रहा है कि फ्रेंड के अध्यक्ष कौन हैं, 2 उपाध्यक्ष कौन हैं और 7 सदस्य कौन हैं? न यह स्पष्ट है कि आयोग का नियमित संचालन हो भी रहा है या नहीं।

६. फ्रेंड को जन्म देने का सरकार का उद्देश्य केवल आयोग बनाना नहीं था, बल्कि बिहार के युवाओं के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारियाँ तय की गई थीं। आयोग का गठन इसलिए किया जा रहा था ताकि-

१. युवाओं को अधिक से अधिक रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध कराने के लिए काम किया जा सके।

२. युवाओं को प्रशिक्षित, कुशल और सक्षम बनाने के लिए कार्यक्रम विकसित किए जाएँ और उन्हें लागू कराया जा सके।

३. युवाओं को आत्मनिर्भर और सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में काम किया जा सके।

४. युवाओं के अधिकारों के रक्षक के रूप में कार्य किया जा सके।

५. युवाओं को प्रभावित करने वाले कानूनों के क्रियान्वयन से जुड़े मामलों पर काम किया जा सके।

६. युवाओं की स्थिति में सुधार और उनके उत्थान के लिए सरकार को आवश्यक सलाह एवं सुझाव दिए जा सकें।

७. युवाओं के लिए हानिकारक या अपमानजनक प्रथाओं की जाँच कर उनके सुधार के लिए आवश्यक उपाय और सुझाव दिए जा सकें।

८. बिहार के स्थानीय युवाओं को राज्य के निजी क्षेत्र में रोजगार में प्राथमिकता दिलाने की दिशा में कार्य किया जा सके और इसकी निगरानी की जा सके।

९. बिहार से बाहर शिक्षा या रोजगार के लिए जाने वाले बिहार के युवाओं के हितों की रक्षा की जा सके।

१०. शराब एवं अन्य मादक पदार्थों जैसी सामाजिक बुराइयों की रोकथाम के लिए कार्यक्रम तैयार कर सरकार को आवश्यक अनुशंसा दी जा सके।

७. लेकिन आज सवाल यह है कि जिस बिहार युवा आयोग का जन्म युवाओं के रोजगार, कौशल, अधिकार, आत्मनिर्भरता और उनके भविष्य के लिए किया गया था, वह आज खुद अपने अस्तित्व की तलाश में क्यों दिखाई दे रहा है?

अगर अध्यक्ष नहीं, उपाध्यक्ष नहीं, सदस्य नहीं और नियमित संचालन की स्पष्ट जानकारी नहीं, तो फिर बिहार युवा आयोग आखिर है कहाँ?

Bihar’s 2026–27 budget allocates ₹68,216 crore to the education sector (~20% of the total outlay). The largest allocation among all departments. And most of this goes towards salaries alone. Not new schools or better outcomes. Even so, there are demands for more vacancies. And job aspirants continue to sit in protest even today.

Bihar has the lowest per capita income among major Indian states. It still exports its workforce to other states by the millions. You don't fix that by hiring more govt employees. You fix it by building an economy that can employ people.

Meanwhile, the Industries Dept - which can actually build the economy, attract private investment & create jobs - gets just ₹3,337 cr (<1%), most of which is spent on establishment costs and subsidies.

Bihar needs a hard reset in priorities.

कोसी-सीमांचल क्षेत्र के लाखों यात्रियों की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए माननीय केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री श्री @AshwiniVaishnaw जी को पत्र लिखकर राउरकेला- टाटानगर- किऊल- मानसी- सहरसा- पूर्णिया-कटिहार के बीच सीधी दैनिक रेल सेवा शुरू करने की मांग की।

साथ ही, ट्रेन संख्या 28181/ 28182 के मार्ग विस्तार एवं राउरकेला से परिचालन का सुझाव दिया। इस सेवा से यात्रियों को सुविधा मिलने के साथ व्यापार, कृषि उत्पादों के विपणन और क्षेत्रीय कनेक्टिविटी को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

A good number of new-age startups in manufacturing, robotics, AI, drones, EVs, and deep tech are being built by people from Bihar. These entrepreneurs have the capability, experience, and resources to contribute to the development and industrial growth of Bihar.

Got the opportunity to meet the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar and hear him speak about his vision for building a strong technology and engineering ecosystem in Bihar.

His clarity of thoughts for creating an environment where technology, tourism, culture and innovation can thrive in the state is much better than what I gathered from social media.

I also had the opportunity to present him with our comics - "The Ghost of IIT BHU", an Engineering Comic created by our team to inspire young people to look at engineering not just as a career, but as a way to solve real-world problems.

झारखंड में छात्रों के आंदोलन को कवर करने आये @News18India के वरिष्ठ पत्रकार श्री @AmanChopra_ को आज नाश्ते के समय झारखंड पुलिस ने डिटेन कर तानाशाही मानसिकता का परिचय दिया है।

लोकतंत्र के चौथे स्तंभ के प्रति सरकार का यह रवैया शर्मनाक है। मैं उनकी तत्काल रिहाई की मांग करता हूं।

On one of my trips to China, I learned that many Chinese students from Class 3 to Class 6 spend 8 AM to 5 PM in school. For Classes 9 and 10, the schedule extends from 8 AM to 8 PM.

I asked a Chinese friend why they follow such stringent schedules when China is already living a much better life than it did a few decades ago.

His replied, “We have seen very bad times in 70s and 80s. We worked extremely hard for 20–30 years to become what we are today. We don't want to go back to that stage.”

He said that Chinese understands the fundamental economic reality that if China becomes expensive or unproductive, work will move to other geographies. China has a huge population to support, and maintaining its economic position requires continuous effort.

They may not necessarily enjoy the long hours, but they have consciously accepted the trade-off.

Other example is from US. A college friend of mine, now working as a power electronics engineer at Tesla, told me that his team often works 14–15 hours a day. These are some of the best engineers. They are not forced to work so hard. They genuinely want to build some of the best technology in the world.

For India, we are not starting from a position of enormous inherited wealth or a centuries-old industrial legacy. We have a massive and still-growing population. We have bureaucracy, corruption, appeasement politics, social divisions and many fault lines.

Of course, work-life balance matters. People should not be exploited. However, the harsh truth is that we cannot choose a lenient work culture and demand rapid development.

Good thing is people have choices now. If Infosys doesn't pay good, people can study hard and join startups. 14 hours a day can also be used for skilling up.

Here is how Bihar’s Industries Department has moved the needle in the last 3 months.

1. Launching a major Steel Corridor project.. Industries Minister had proposed and the CM has already given go ahead. Set to bring in one of the state's largest industrial investments to date.

2. Already floated RFP to find consultant for an ambitious Electronic City in Vaishali. (Land acquisition almost complete)

3. Rolling out Bihar’s 1sr ever dedicated MSME Policy. Can be a game changer for a state like Bihar.

4. Established the Bihar State Marketing Authority (BSMA) to help local entrepreneurs scale and market their products. Construction underway in Patliputra Industrial Area, Patna.

5. Introduced the EODB Bill to streamline regulatory approvals.

6. Secured strong commitments from leading textile groups, with some major industry players having already applied.

7. Initiated a RAMP pilot project across 2 districts to process water hyacinth into commercial fiber, a project stalled for 3 years.

8. Reopened a strategic Japan–Bihar MoU proposal that had been pending since 2018.

9. Preparing to launch updated, highly practical Startup and Industrial Policies for 2026.

10. Secured Union Ministry support for a dedicated Textile Park, with site identification currently underway.

11. Also, the Minister instead of attending high level roadshows or doing any media/PR has preferred to conduct direct 1-on-1 investor meeting to assure the existing as well as new investors.

12. Major industrial infra projects like IMC Gaya, Leather Product park SEZs given push.

Lots of focus on fixing foundational basics first... Defence Corridor project will happen for sure.
